Due to privacy issues, the troop committee voted to require each family to fill out a permission form before images of their scout can be placed into this web site.

We are currently migrating all of the troop web site images over to a new web site program called 4images Gallery . Because each image needs to be placed individually, the progress is a bit slow; it is not complete. If you are interested, you can start using this service right now. Please be aware that the images that are provided through 4images Gallery software will not be complete for some time. Here is the link to this new web site addition: http://www.bsatroop723.org/pictures/

Note that you just might want to register into the 4image Gallery program. The process is as follows:

  1. When you open up the web site page, http://www.bsatroop723.org/pictures/ you will immediately be able to view the photographs. You will not be able to comment or vote or do any other neat things with this part of the site until you successfully register.
  2. Click on the word "Registration" in the menu along the left side.
  3. A new window will appear with the "Terms of Registration". If you agree to the terms, click on "Agree". (If you do not agree, well curtains).
  4. A registration window then will appear. Enter your full name, a password and a good e-mail address. Next take a good close look at the colorful window labeled "Verification code". Type in the letters you see in that window into the space provided below the color window. ( Captcha system is to make sure you are not a computer but a humane http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Captcha) The problem with this implementation of Captcha is the letters shown in the colored window are not easily seen as being upper or lower case. Sorry, but you just might have to enter the Captcha letters a number of times until you get it right.
  5. When you are successful in registering an e-mail will be sent to you. Our troop web servers are located in Texas but you should get an e-mail response in a couple of minutes.
  6. Go to your e-mail program and look for a new e-mail showing that you successfully registered. You will see a web address line (typically in blue) down in the text. Click on that address and by doing so you will be taken BACK to the troop web site photo page (you were just there but now it will appear again). The web page should say that you have completed the registration.
  7. If you have any problems, send the web master a courteous, friendly message.

I am very sorry that you had to go through all that rather involved process but just keep in mind that this product is highly rated and if that does not hold merit then realize that it was/is developed in Germany.
